The Front Line Ag Story
The premium experience that Front Line Ag customers receive is backed by two lifetimes of deep commitment to agriculture and central Illinois.
For most of their lives, owners Chase Aylesworth and Alec Murphy followed parallel paths. They both grew up in Mt. Pulaski, where they actively participated in FFA and 4-H. They both earned degrees in crop sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. And they both started working in the seed industry right after graduation.
Alec and Chase each operated their own successful Illinois seed business for several years … but in 2022, their paths finally came together. They decided to join forces so they could help even more central Illinois growers succeed — and Front Line Ag was born.
Today, Front Line Ag is a thriving business that was recognized by Pioneer with their 2023 Acre Growth and Net New Customer awards. But although our team has worked hard to support local growers, we’ve worked just as hard to support the farmers of tomorrow. We give time and resources to the local FFA, 4-H Fair, Mt. Pulaski High School, and multiple local agriculture- and livestock-related events — all with the hope of igniting the love of farming in young people.
