Inside Seed Concepts Inc.
Jared Dauk, president of Seed Concepts, grew up on a farm in southern Minnesota. He spent his college years raising hogs; then started his own seed business in 1995.
After working for a crop consultant, working on planters, and selling crop insurance for a few years in Minnesota, Jared moved to Wisconsin in 2000 and began selling Pioneer brand seed out of two buildings in the village of Pulaski.
Jared expanded his business in 2001 by becoming a licensed insurance agent and working with Precision Planting. He hired his first employee in 2005 and built a new facility in Pulaski in 2007. In 2017, he opened his second Seed Concepts location in Pound, Wisconsin.
